What we do ....

The Friends of Eastfield Park (FoEP) are involved in a wide range of activities in relation to Eastfield Park. These include:

Conducting research into the history of the Park and the surrounding area; investigating the biodiversity within the Park.

Consulting with local residents and negotiating with other interested parties regarding future developments within the Park.

Creating a 'vision' for the Park; drawing up proposals and action plans for making the vision a reality and taking the steps necessary to achieve this.

Raising an awareness of Eastfield Park by encouraging its use for a variety of activities, some of which we organise or take part in ourselves.

Taking care of the Park, its facilities and its wildlife and, where possible, improving them for future generations to enjoy.

Keeping others informed about our activities and achievements and encouraging wider participation in our pursuits.

Educating the general public as well as children and students about the Park, its history and wildlife.
