Crime Watch ....

Sadly, not all has been good news! The dipping platform that was installed in April, 2009, to allow children safe access to the top pond has been damaged and tipped into the pond by vandals!

RANGERS REPORTS

Each month from now on we will include a brief report from Kevin Skerry, the Eastfield Park Ranger. Please be aware that Kevin has to divide his time between several of Northampton's parks and can only comment on situations he is aware of. Graffiti, litter, flytipping and cleansing issues can be reported directly to Northampton Borough Council using the form found at:
http://selfserve.northampton.gov.uk/ mycouncil/reportIt.html.
You can send messages to Kevin using the 'Contact' page on this website.
From next month Kevin will include comments on grass cutting and bin emptying.
News about the dipping platform came too late for inclusion in this month's report.

Eastfield Park Rangers Report for May 2015

Number of Patrols: Six
Dog Issues: Large number of walkers; no fouling witnessed
Littering Issues: Low level litter
Graffiti Incidents: None reported
Vehicle on the Park incidents: None reported
Anti Social Behaviour: Nothing reported
Complaints received from the public:None

May has been a quiet month for Eastfield Park and I have been pleased to see increased numbers of visitors enjoying the park. Dog owners are very largely picking up their dogs' mess and litter is at a low level.
I have not been able to patrol as often as I would have liked owing to prioritising my time with some other issues and problems. I aim to patrol on a normal week at least three times Monday to Sunday. However, this can often change owing to the number of parks I am required to cover. In general I think Eastfield Park is looking good and the increased numbers of visitors is encouraging.
