What we do: Communication ....

Communication is a vital part of the Friends of Eastfield Park's (FoEP's) activities. We need to communicate with local residents, those responsible for the management of the Park within Enterprise and the Borough Council, other organisations with an interest in the park, and other park users, as well as, of course, within our own group.

All of our most important documents such as our constitution, our policy documents, reports of most of our recent conservation activities and our 2008 document, 'Proposals for the Regeneration of Eastfield Park', are available from the Downloads page of this website.

Since January 2012 we have published regular monthly news updates on this website, all of which are available (with only slight editorial changes) in the News Archive. We publish more frequent news on an ad hoc basis on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Friends-of-Eastfield-Park/252115768221776).

Members of the public are welcome to attend any of our committee meetings if they wish. Since 2011 our AGMs have been preceeded by public talks, usually about the park and our ideas for improving it.

We aim to publicise our activities in the Chronicle & Echo, usually within the main body of the newspaper as well as in the Eastfield and Lakeview neighbourhood sections in 'Down Your Way'.
